The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation fulfills the founding principles of our Fraternity by providing support for programs that are educational, philanthropic, and leadership-oriented. Zeta Tau Alpha’s National Philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness.
THE ANNUAL "Pink out" WALK
Every fall semester, our chapter sponsors a "Pink Out" 5k Walk/Run at Stockton's campus. In 2013, it was held around the trails of Stockton and at every 1k willing participants were sprayed with pink paint. The walk featured breakfast, raffles, and breast cancer education signs around the trails! Pins, bracelets, and T-shirts were also available for sale at the event as well as venders such as MaryKay, Aarbone, Owl Origami, Amphibia Apparel, and many more. Family and friends of ZTA's members as well as other members of Stockton's college community joined the sisters and helped to raise over $5,000.
SEARCH FOR THE STARS
Every Spring our chapter hosts an annual talent show. It is called ZTA's Search for the Stars! It is held in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) of Stockton College. Participating groups included other greek organizations on campus, the student acapella group, individual singers, the Stockton Dance team, and many more. Every year, ZTA's Search for the Stars promises to bring a lot of fun and action to Stockton's campus. It is a fun and silly way to see everyone’s talents on campus and win cool prizes and baskets! In 2013 Kappa Xi was able to raise over $3,500.
BIG MAN ON CAMPUS
This past Spring, our chapter decided to hold a new philanthropy event, Big Man on Campus! 12 male contestants had to prove that they were Stockton's very own Big Man on Campus, by competing in different rounds that were judge by our very own judges! The boys had to participate in events such as having the best pick up line, and formal wear! With a sold out show, we were able to raise over $3,000 dollars! With such a huge success for the first time, we can't wait to host Stockton's second annual Big Man on Campus competition!
